Some items to keep in mind:

Now that we are working with fractions and geometry in Math, it is becoming clear that many students do not know the basic math facts. Students are struggling and becoming frustrated because the work is very time consuming. This is due to students not having mastery of the basic facts.

Students must study the multiplication/division facts every night in order to enjoy continued success in Math!!

Math facts quizzes occur every Friday. For the remainder of the school year, quizzes will rotate though facts of the four basic operations.

Thursday, May 17 is "Field Day."

There will be no school on Friday, May 25, nor Monday, May 28, in observance of Memorial Day.

Friday, June 8 is the "Third Grade Social!"
