In light of recent national developments greater emphasis is being placed on identifying not only youth at risk for substance abuse, but also for identification of alienated and violence prone youth.

Faculty are directed as to how to intervene and who to go to to report concerns regarding individual students. Clear instructions are provided in the faculty handbook for handling disruptive students as well as reporting threats of violence.
